Step 1: Open Shopify App Settings

  1. Log in to your Shopify Admin.

  2. Click Settings (bottom left).

  3. Go to Apps.

  4. Click Develop apps.

  5. When prompted, click Build apps in the developer dashboard.

Step 2: Create a New Shopify App

  1. You will be redirected to the Shopify Developer Dashboard.

  2. Click Create app.

  3. Select Start from dev dashboard.

  4. Enter an app name (e.g. Arvow).

  5. Click Create app.

  6. Inside your app, the only thing you need to configure are the access scopes.

  7. Under access scopes, click Add scopes.

  8. Search for Content.

  9. Enable the following permissions:

    • ✅ read_content

    • ✅ write_content

  10. Click Release.

Step 3: Install the App

  1. Go to Versions.

  2. Click Install app.

  3. Approve the authorization by clicking Install.

Step 4: Get Shopify API Credentials

  1. In the Shopify Developer Dashboard, open your app.

  2. Go to Settings.

  3. Copy the following values:

    • Client ID

    • Client Secret

Step 5: Connect Shopify Inside Arvow

  1. Go to Arvow.

  2. Click Create New Integration > Shopify.

  3. Choose Client Credentials as the authentication method.

  4. Fill in the fields:

    • Client ID → paste from Shopify dev dashboard

    • Client Secret → paste from Shopify dev dashboard

    • Shop name → you can get it on your Shopify dashboard URL, e.g:

  1. (Optional) Set an Author Name.

  2. Choose how articles should be published:

    • Published (live immediately)

    • Draft (review before publishing)

  3. Click Create Integration.
