Overview

A News Feed automatically turns the latest news on a topic into articles for your website. You enter a search query (e.g., "Bitcoin"), and Arvow generates a fresh news article on your schedule.

⚠️ The News Feed only works with a Recurring Automation and a News Article template. You'll set it up as part of creating a recurring automation.

Setting Up a News Feed

  1. Go to the AutoBlog tab.

  2. Click Add New Article.

  3. Select the Recurring option.

  4. Set a Start Date and your Schedule (days of the week and time).

  5. Click Continue.

  6. Choose one of the News Article templates (e.g., the default News Article) and click Continue.

  7. Under Source Type, select News Feed.

  8. Enter a query for the news you want to cover.

  9. (Optional) Customize the filters:

    • Target country: where the news should come from.

    • Time range: how recent the news should be.

    • Exclude sources: websites you don't want mentioned.

    • Include sources: websites you specifically want news from.

  10. Choose your publishing mode:

    • Generate only: articles are created but not published.

    • Generate and publish: articles are created and published to the website connected to your AutoBlog.

  11. Click Start Repeating.

👍 Your schedule will now show a news article on your topic being generated (and published, if selected) on each day and time you chose — for example, every day at 9 AM.

📘 Keep your query short and specific. A single topic like "Bitcoin" or "electric cars" works best. If your query is too broad, the articles may cover unrelated news.

Editing Your News Feed

You can change your feed at any time after the automation is running:

  1. Click on any article in your calendar (it doesn't matter which one).

  2. Go to the Content tab.

  3. Edit the query or filters for your news feed.

FAQs

Q: Can I use a News Feed with a one-off article? No. Feeds are only available for recurring automations.

Q: Which templates work with the News Feed? Any of the News Article templates.

Q: Can I stop certain websites from being mentioned in my articles? Yes. Use the Exclude sources filter to leave out websites you don't want referenced.

Q: Can I limit the news to specific websites? Yes. Use the Include sources filter to pull news only from the websites you choose.

Q: Can I review the articles before they go live? Yes. Choose Generate only and publish them yourself when you're ready.
