Overview

A YouTube Feed automatically turns videos from a YouTube channel into blog posts for your website. You enter a channel URL, and Arvow generates a new blog post from that channel's videos on your schedule.

⚠️ The YouTube Feed only works with a Recurring Automation and a YouTube to Blog Post template. You'll set it up as part of creating a recurring automation.

Setting Up a YouTube Feed

  1. Go to the AutoBlog tab.

  2. Click Add Article.

  3. Select the Recurring option at the top.

  4. Set a Start Date and your Schedule (days of the week and time).

  5. Click Continue.

  6. Choose one of the YouTube to Blog Post templates and click Continue.

  7. Enter the Channel URL of the YouTube channel you want videos from.

  8. Choose your publishing mode:

    • Generate only: articles are created but not published.

    • Generate and publish: articles are created and published to the website connected to your AutoBlog.

  9. Click Start Repeating.

👍 Your automation is now set. On each scheduled day, a blog post based on a video from that channel will be generated (and published, if selected).

📘 You can create your own YouTube to Blog Post templates with different settings and use them here. Any template of that type will work with the YouTube Feed.

Editing Your YouTube Feed

You can switch to a different channel at any time after the automation is running:

  1. Click on any article in your calendar (it doesn't matter which one).

  2. Go to the Content section.

  3. Replace the channel URL with the new channel of your choice.

FAQs

Q: Can I use a YouTube Feed with a one-off article? No. Feeds are only available for recurring automations.

Q: Can I use more than one channel in the same feed? The feed takes a single channel URL. To cover multiple channels, set up a separate recurring automation for each one.

Q: Can I review the articles before they go live? Yes. Choose Generate only and publish them yourself when you're ready.
