Knowledge base

The Knowledge Base is a repository where you store information that helps tailor content to your brand’s voice and style. It supports websites, PDFs, plain text, and YouTube, which the AI uses to generate more accurate, brand-specific content.
Watch our step by step video on how to set up and use the Knowledge Base feature:
Setting Up the Knowledge Base
Go to Knowledge Base for your project. Each project has one default Knowledge Base already available — you do not need to create multiple.
Open it to start adding assets.
📘 Multi-Knowledge Base setups are legacy. New projects use a single Knowledge Base per project.
Adding Assets
Click on ‘Add Asset’ within your knowledge base.
Choose the type of asset you want to add. Currently, you can add:
Websites - Enter the URL and any specific details about the site.
PDF documents - Upload files that include information about your company.
Plain text - Type in relevant text about your brand.
Youtube channel - We’ll crawl the channel and upload all the videos to the asset.
Click ‘Add Asset’ to include the asset in your Knowledge Base.
📘 The more context and assets you provide, the better the AI can tailor the content to your brand’s voice and style.
Using the Knowledge Base
Article generation uses the project Knowledge Base automatically — there is no picker to select one. Put durable brand facts (voice, positioning, core details) in Website & Brand, and use the Knowledge Base for supporting assets like sites, PDFs, notes, and YouTube.
For example, if your brand is a go-karting business, the AI will produce content that reflects the specific language, tone, and context found in your brand brief and Knowledge Base assets, rather than generic information about go-karting.
Best Practices
Regular Updates - Frequently update your assets to ensure the AI has the latest information about your brand.
Comprehensive Assets - Provide a wide range of assets, including text and documents, to give the AI a robust understanding of your brand.
Consistent Review - Regularly review the generated content to ensure it aligns with your brand voice and make adjustments to your assets as needed.
Troubleshooting
Content Accuracy - If the generated content does not align with your brand, check the assets you have provided and update them with more relevant information. Also review your brand brief under Website & Brand.
