How Credits Are Used

  • Content Generation: Each 15 credits corresponds to generating one standard article.

  • AI-Generated Images: Use credits to create AI-powered images that can be added to your articles, enhancing visual appeal and engagement.

  • Site Optimizer Page Crawls: The Site Optimizer feature uses credits to crawl and analyze the pages of your website. The number of credits consumed depends on the number of pages scanned and optimized.

  • LLM Brand Monitor: Each prompt tracked consumes credits when run across the five AI platforms (Grok, ChatGPT, Claude, Gemini, and Perplexity). Since monitors run every 3 days, credit usage depends on the number of prompts you're tracking. A cost breakdown is shown before creating a monitor.

Types of Credits

  • Monthly Subscription Credits: These are included in your subscription plan and renew every month. Any unused credits expire at the end of the month and do not roll over.

  • Pay-As-You-Go Credits: These credits can be purchased separately and do not expire, providing more flexibility if you need additional credits beyond your monthly subscription.

Credit Usage

  • Standard Article: 15 Credits.

  • Feed-sourced Article: +10 Credits (25 total). Applies when an article is generated from a news, RSS, or YouTube feed item.

  • AI images: 1 credit per image.

  • Premium AI images: 5 credits per image.

  • Site optimizer: 2 credits per crawled page.

  • AI Assistant edit: 1 credit when you apply an edit (chat itself is free).

  • LLM Brand Monitor: 6 credits per prompt per run.

  • Automatic Backlinks: 15 credits per verified backlink after the free daily allowance (1 free verified backlink per account per day).

  • Keyword Planner research: 3 credits per research run.

Why did my article credit cost go up?

A jump that looks like a price increase is often a change in how articles are generated, not a hidden plan change.

  • A standard article costs 15 credits.

  • An article from a feed (news, RSS, or YouTube) costs 25 credits total.

  • Images, Site Optimizer crawls, Brand Monitor runs, Keyword Planner research, and verified Automatic Backlinks also spend credits on top of article generation.

Current numbers are listed in the Credit Usage section above. If you need a billing exception, free credits, or a plan review, contact support — those changes require a human.

Purchasing Additional Credits

👍 Monthly credits are always spent first. Topup credits are only used after.

If you run out of credits, you can easily purchase more:

  • Monthly Subscription Plan: Upgrade your plan to include more monthly credits.

  • Pay-As-You-Go: Buy additional credits as needed, which do not expire.
